The experience of watching movies at home is something that has become the new norm during the pandemic. With the cinema closed, the giant TV became its replacement in the home. Although the pandemic is now over, the demand for robust audio visual systems remains. Today Hisense Malaysia launched their Hisense PX1-Pro laser TV to the local market.
Despite being named laser TV, it is actually a short throw projector with a TriChroma laser beam system that can last up to 25,000 hours. PX1-Pro is able to display images at 4K resolution between 90-130″ with BT.2020 color support complete with HDR 10 support.
The maximum brightness that can be achieved is up to 2000 Lumens. The Android TV 10 operating system is also used to ensure that there are various applications that can be used by the owner.
It is also of the short throw type with a large image that can be displayed on the screen from a distance of only 19cm. In addition to solid visuals, the PX1-Pro also comes with a 30W Dolby Atmos audio system. It can be connected to 2GHz and 5GHz WiFi networks and bluetooth 5.0 support. In terms of input, there are 2x HDMI 2.0 and 2x USB-A 3.
In Malaysia, Hisense PX1-Pro is sold at a price of RM29,999 per unit but for the promotion period until 31 October, it can be purchased at a price of RM18,999 with a 100″ Ambient Light Rejecting (ALS) screen and RM14,999 without an ALS screen.
