Larry Page's Kitty Hawk Flying Taxi Company Ceases Operations

Kitty Hawk is a flying car development company owned by Google founder Larry Page. After launching several prototypes, Kittyhawk has announced that the company will cease operations today after 10 years of operation.

No reason was given as to why the company's operations were suddenly halted. At this time there is no information what will happen to the assets of the company that also collaborates with Boeing.

Over the past decade they have produced 16 flying vehicles with the goal of being used in flying taxi operations as early as 2022. But so far none have started operations despite the existence of a prototype that operates more quietly than a washing machine.
