Apple today confirmed the next operating system update for smart watches, namely watchOS 9 will be introduced to all Apple watch users starting September 13.
This update will be offered for Apple Watch Series 4 and newer, and requires an iPhone 8 or iPhone SE (Second Generation) and the latest running iOS 16 in order to update to the smartwatch.
watchOS 9 will bring a number of new watch face designs, on-screen keyboard support, updates to fitness features, as well as low-power battery support to ensure the watch can be used for longer.
