Apple Tests Adaptive Sound Passing Mode Support For First-Generation AirPods Pro

AirPods Pro till today is said to be the best set of true wireless earphones for Apple, as it supports fast tethering, has pretty good active noise cancellation capabilities, offers pretty great spatial audio support and much more.

Although Apple has launched a new generation of AirPods Pro that is said to be getting better with quality audio, Apple still hasn't forgotten their first generation AirPods Pro. Update support continues and in iOS 16.1 beta version iOS 16.1b3, this TWS receives v5A304a beta update support.

In this update, it gives this TWS Adaptive Transparency support. This feature was introduced on AirPods Pro 2 and now first generation users can also enjoy it. With this feature, it provides a higher quality sound passthrough mode, where it can block out noises such as sirens, construction noises, etc. while listening to human voices.

The Adaptive Transparency feature on AirPods Pro 2 can be activated because it uses the Apple H2 chip. But the AirPods Pro uses the Apple H1 chip, so the quality is still not sure if it is up to par or there will be a deficiency. Those running iOS 16.1 beta version can already test it starting today.
