The Google Pixel Watch that was launched late last night can only be used with Android smartphones. This is confirmed through Google's official announcement that the Pixel Watch can only be used on devices with Android 8 and above.
The Pixel Watch app needed to control it is also not offered in the Apple App Store. This move by Google is not surprising because Samsung also does not support iOS devices since their smartwatches moved to Wear OS last year.
