Recently, the Ministry of Public Works stated that planning for the toll freeway (MLFF) will begin in 2025. The implementation is part of the country's efforts to reduce congestion on toll plaza routes.
Not only that, the ministry also wants to develop a weighing system for heavy vehicles to detect overloaded lorries so that there is no more damage and traffic congestion.
This MLFF system will also use RFID so that vehicles don't have to stop to pay tolls and can run more traffic on the highway. In order to make this happen, the Smart Transport System Master Plan is said to be integrated with a group of toll concession companies with the agreement of all municipalities or cities.
