MediaTek was previously present with some of their high-powered processing chips through Dimensity 9000 and Dimensity 9000+ with 4nm design. Now, there are rumors that MediaTek will launch a new chip known as Dimensity 9200 this November.
Information About Dimensity 9000
Commenting further, the chip is believed to be present as a competitor for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip which is expected to arrive around the same month. Citing sources, the Dimensity 9200 will use ARM's Cortex-X3 where this core promises a 25% better performance compared to its predecessor.
Information About Dimensity 9000+
This is paired with the new Immortalis G715 GPU for further performance improvements on the processing chip. The chip will also be manufactured using TSMC's 4nm technology, at the same time there is also a probability of the same Cortex-A710 and Cortex-A510 cores as before also being used.
As an aside, MediaTek has previously launched a new mid-range chip through the Dimensity 1080. It is an improvement on the Dimensity 920 chip, while also supporting cameras up to 200MP.
