Android Games from Play Store Already Entered Windows 11

Google Play Games inaugurated the presence of Android games for PC in the open beta period, where users can already try out several Android games to play on PC.

The beta period of the software for Windows has actually been open since early 2022, but is limited to Hong Kong, South Korea, and Taiwan. Now, the service can be enjoyed in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore.

Games available for now include 1945 Air Force, Blade Idle, Cookie Run: Kingdom, and Evony: The King's Return. This application will even be synchronized between PC and mobile, so users don't need to start from scratch if they have played the game above.

Google claims to continue to add game titles available in the Play Games catalog. But for now there are only 85 games available globally, as quoted by us from The Verge, Friday (11/4/2022).

"We are very excited to expand our platform to more markets so that players can enjoy their favorite games on Google Play Games. In the future we will continue to add new features and evaluate feedback from developers and players," said Arjun Dayal, Director of Google Play Games.

Google Play Games is different from what Microsoft did to make Android applications run on Windows 11, where they collaborated with Amazon to bring applications from the Amazon Appstore on Windows 11.

Microsoft made a Windows Subsystem for Android into Windows 11. While Google did it by creating a special application that could run Android games on Windows.

The games available on Google Play Games are confirmed to support keyboard and mouse input.

Players can easily search, download, and play their favorite mobile games on PC by taking advantage of the large screen and mouse and keyboard input. No more lost achievements when switching between devices.
