Elon Musk Removes Twitter Employee Rest Day

Elon Musk is known to be a hard worker and the employees at his companies are sued as well. So when mastering Twitter, the comfort of employees was immediately greatly reduced by him.

As quoted by us from the New York Post, in addition to the massive layoffs that reportedly hit 3,700 employees, Elon Musk also removed a program called days of rest for Twitter employees.

So since the beginning of the Corona pandemic, Twitter has allowed employees to rest outside of their leave and still get paid. This policy is intended so that they are not stressed in the middle of a pile of work.

Well, according to related sources quoted by Bloomberg, the rest day has been abolished by Elon Musk. Of course the richest man in the world intends for Twitter employees to work even harder.

Previously, there were other policies that Elon Musk was also likely to change. Twitter has been one of the most lax technology companies in the work from home system, even though the Corona pandemic is over. Employees are still free to work anywhere, as long as their tasks can be completed properly.

Well, Twitter employees who WFH have been recorded and maybe they will return to full work in the office. Elon Musk is known to dislike the WFH method, even Tesla employees have been asked to return to the office recently. If they do not comply, there is a threat of dismissal on them.

“Anyone who wants to work remotely has to be in the office at least (and I mean *minimum*) 40 hours per week or leave Tesla. This is less than we ask factory employees,” Elon Musk said in an email.
