Google will continue to ensure that their users will always receive the best user experience on the products and services offered. Recently, Google will ensure that no more poor quality applications are suggested to users and users will only see quality applications through the Play Store.
This is because, Google has changed the way applications are displayed to ensure user safety and will not use applications that may not operate well on their respective Android devices.
Developers now have to make sure their app needs to have a rating of at least three stars to be listed in the best apps chart. In addition, the user-reported app crash rate and the app crash rate itself need to be less than 8% for each device.
Starting in February 2023, the best free apps chart will start showing only quality apps with a chart for the best paid apps launching later. Poor quality applications will also have a warning "Recent data from similar devices show that this app may not work properly on your device".
Google will also ensure that application reviews given on the Play Store are authentic, not attacked by users due to current issues, or spam type reviews. Not to forget, the interface on the future Play Store will also be changed such as on the main page, search results, discovery, and lists with ads displayed.
