MediaTek has now shared the launch date for its new processing chip, the Dimensity 8200 which is scheduled to take place on December 1st. It is an updated variation of the previous Dimensity 8100 with a focus on better energy efficiency. Next, among the first manufacturers confirmed to be present with this processing chip is iQOO through the Neo 7 model.
No further information about the configuration has been revealed by MediaTek so far. But it is believed to use the same 4x Cortex-A78 and 4x Cortex-A55 cores, but in a different configuration at a higher speed. Where, the A78 will be divided into two parts that include 1x Cortex-A78 at 3.1 GHz and 3x Cortex-A78 at 3.0 GHz. Next, the four Cortex-A55 cores remain at 2.0 GHz. AnTutu's benchmark score has also leaked before with a collection of over 900,000 points.
