There is another serious issue on Android devices today when Google's Project Zero reports that they found a security vulnerability in devices that use chips with Mali GPUs. The vulnerability was discovered a few months ago and it was reported to ARM but until now it has not been patched.
Among the manufacturers affected by this vulnerability are Samsung, Xiaomi and Google itself with the use of Mali GPUs on Tensor and Exynos chips. Among the things that hackers can do through this vulnerability is to steal user data. A very sensitive issue among modern smart device users as it is a computer that is used every day to do various important tasks.
Users of devices with Snapdragon chips currently do not need to worry because the same vulnerability is not found on the Adreno GPU used.
