Samsung's OLED Panels Are Used in 70% of iPhone 14 Released

Samsung and Apple are two rivals in the smartphone world. As two of the biggest manufacturers, every year the products produced compete with each other to make them the best. But many may not realize that Apple uses Samsung's OLED panels on their iPhones.

According to a report by The Elec today, Samsung supplies 70% of the OLED panels used in the iPhone 14 series that have been released so far. A total of 80 million panels from Samsung, 20 million panels from LG and 6 million panels from BOE have been used so far. The BOE panel is only used on the iPhone 14 model with a 6.1″ screen.

In the same report 60 million Samsung panels are used in the Pro model with the rest from LG. Originally Apple wanted to use more panels from LG but after various problems appeared during production, orders from Samsung were added.

Although Apple is a competitor to Samsung, their success in selling iPhones still brings profits to Samsung.
