The Tecno brand has just entered the Malaysian market this year. Although this brand has just established itself in the world of mobile devices, they have already shown some interesting technologies such as touch lenses and similar Sensor Shift. Now they also show Eagle Eye technology which they say provides better image stabilization than OIS.
Eagle Eye uses two prisms to stabilize the image before it reaches the sensor. One prism has freedom of movement up to 8 degrees on one axis and the other up to 10 degrees on one axis. Through the OIS system and artificial intelligence, Eagle Eye can record photos and videos more stably according to Tecno.
There are many systems that try to solve image stabilization issues on smartphones. Each with its own advantages and disadvantages. The extent of Eagle Eye's capabilities will only be known when it is used on Tecno devices in the future.
