The Selangor government today presented the Selangor Budget 2023, at the same time showing one of the initiatives to be implemented, called Digital ID.
This Selangor Digital ID will be used to access various public services of the Selangor state government through one digital ID only, without the need to register for different digital IDs for services under the state government.
This digital identity is expected to be the first enablement in ensuring that Selangor continues to progress in various service implementations and operate efficiently, by 2025.
The implementation of this digital identity system is expected to start in 2023.
