Blue's Twitter subscription has been discontinued, due to misuse and impersonation issues. The relaunch date has not yet been announced as of today. What is certain is that new accounts will not be able to subscribe and will have to wait for the maturity period within 90 days. The subscription price in Malaysia is expected to cost RM34.90 per month for the initial offer.
Recently, Elon Musk announced that the blue smear problem on Twitter accounts has almost been fixed. First as we all know, official accounts such as government agencies, famous people, politicians will have the label "Official" or "Official". Later on, company accounts will use a gold smear, government accounts a gray smear and individual accounts a blue smear whether subscribed to Twitter Blue or selected.
Not only that, Elon Musk insisted that all verified accounts will go through a manual verification process before the smear mark is activated. Also, if the individual's account is involved with an organization there will be a small logo displayed who they are involved with. While an impersonated account will remain suspended if found guilty.
