Yahoo has now announced they will take a 25% stake in popular advertising firm, Taboola. Although Yahoo acquired a minority stake, it nevertheless made Yahoo the largest shareholder in terms of shareholding figures in Taboola's firm.
With this move as well, Taboola will power content and advertising on various Yahoo sites for the next 30 years.
For those who are not familiar with Tabool, it usually displays advertising at the bottom of the article in the form of integrated content on a certain page.
As a result of this collaboration, both firms aim to generate around $1 billion by 2025.
Let's see if this collaboration will strengthen Yahoo's position in the content and advertising arena or vice versa.
