The Sabah State Government has now shared that 4G network coverage in Sabah has now increased from 73.41% in 2020, to covering 88.06% of populated areas in Sabah.
This was achieved through the development of a number of new telecommunications towers, in addition to upgrading existing towers to support 4G networks.
In addition, the state government also implemented the support of internet transmission through satellite. A total of 300 VSAT installations have been approved for the year 2023.
With this new development, we will be able to see more comprehensive internet coverage in Sabah, allowing everyone to enjoy access to the digital arena without any problems.
