One of the software that is quite often used by video editors is Handbrake. It is used in changing the video format, shrinking the file or also optimizing a video file for a platform or device.
Most recently, Handbrake has introduced the latest version of their software, which is Handbrake 1.6.
Through this new version, it also adds support for the AV1 video format, enabling video encoding of that format.
In addition, a number of optimizations were made, including the addition of 10-bit VP9 encoding, Intel Deep Link Hyper Encode support, and the removal of various presets for VP8.
