According to estimates, it has been about five months since Nothing Phone (1) was marketed to users. In Malaysia, it is sold with a selling price starting at RM2,399 for the 8GB/256G variant. Meanwhile, the larger 12GB/256GB model can be purchased at RM2,699.
For those who are waiting for an updated model for it, this will not happen anytime soon. This was revealed by the Co-Founder and CEO of Nothing, Carl Pei through one of his tweets on Twitter.
According to him, the company's focus is now more focused on improving some things on existing products. At the same time, will not release dozens of other products in a year like what other manufacturers do.
He added that Nothing's first product, the Nothing Phone (1), will remain the main focus of the company so far. Through it, there are greater improvements that will be made to provide a better experience among users. For example, providing the latest software updates for Android 13 and beyond.
This can be said to be in line with the announcement of the Nothing OS 1.5 software which is now being tested in private. At the same time, Nothing also opened beta test registration for those interested in testing Android 13 on their respective devices.
