Now There Are 2715 5G Sites In 36 Percent Of Populated Areas In Malaysia – Fahmi Fadzil


 During the press conference of the Ministry of Communications and Digital just now, Minister Fahmi Fadzil announced that Digital Nasional Berhad has developed a number of 5G network sites in populated areas throughout Malaysia.


According to him, as of 31 October 2022, DNB has developed 2715 5G network sites in 36 percent of the populated areas throughout Malaysia. No details about the percentage of each state were given earlier, but it is expected that the states that have 5G networks now include Selangor, Perak, Johor, Penang and also Negeri Sembilan which is currently testing the use of the network.


So far, telecommunications companies such as Yes, U Mobile, Unifi, Celcom and Digi have already activated their 5G networks on devices that support the network officially as stated on the Digital Nasional Berhad website.
