TSMC Has Started Plans to Develop Second Plant In Arizona – Will Be Operating 2026

 


Yesterday we reported that TSMC will use their factory being developed in Arizona to produce processing chips built using the 5nm and 3nm process for the country's companies such as Apple, NVIDIA and AMD.


Recently, TSMC has confirmed that this production will be done in two different factories. The first factory, as previously reported, will start manufacturing 5nm and 4nm processing chips in 2024, while this second factory, which will operate from 2026, will manufacture 3nm processing chips will operate from 2026.



With the development of this second factory, TSMC is expected to create 20 thousand job opportunities in the development sector and 4500 new jobs that will work with TSMC when these factories are opened later.


In fact, the President of the United States, Joe Biden said that TSMC alone will generate an income of $40 billion for the American people during the development and operation of the factories.
