Buzzfeed Will Use ChatGPT To Produce Content

Will the future of human writing be dark due to artificial intelligence (AI)? This may be the reaction we saw on social media after ChatGPT was announced late last year. There are details of the truth here as Cnet has admitted that it has been using AI to compose its content for the past three years. Cnet's move is now being followed by Buzzfeed with the company's CEO issuing a memo to staff that ChatGPT will be used to produce content in the form of quizzes.

Articles using artificial intelligence will begin to be offered at the beginning of February. Content for news on Buzzfeed will still maintain a human staff at this time.

Among the content that ChatGPT can produce for BuzzFeed is writing a plot for a comedy film based on the answers to quizzes given by readers. The answers given will be inputs that are then entered into ChatGPT to produce original works instantly.

The news of the use of AI at BuzzFeed certainly worries the staff who are writers at the company because previously dozens have been laid off to reduce operating costs. With ChatGPT seen as a much cheaper alternative to humans, when do you think AI will become skilled enough to replace all typing work?
