Celebrate New Year 2023, ESA Shows Off Planet Earth from Outer Space

A number of countries in various parts of the Earth have passed from 2022 to 2023. The European Space Agency (ESA) also wishes the new year from outer space.

ESA shows a timelapse of Earth taken by its astronaut, Samantha Cristoforetti, via the International Space Station (ISS).

"The entire ESA family would like to wish you a peaceful, safe and enjoyable 2023! May the new year be full of adventure and great opportunities," ESA said as quoted from his Instagram account.

From the timelapse of Earth shown by ESA, it shows how beautiful this planet is during the day. It looks blue from sea water, land, to the clouds that cover it.

"We will continue to bring the wonders of the universe and Earth to the palm of your hand," wrote ESA.
