The issue with the Galaxy Z Fold4 is that the screen still has the fold effect. After a few months of use, the crease effect will become more and more noticeable. This is disappointing because the Find N2, Magic Vs and Mi Fold2 don't have the same issue. According to the latest reports from Korea last weekend, this issue will be resolved on the Galaxy Z Fold5.
This is done through different folding mechanisms. Samsung patented a water drop folding mechanism similar to that used by Oppo and Honor on their devices. Another thing that has been changed is the slightly taller body compared to the Galaxy Z Fold4. Also rumored is a camera with a larger sensor and more importantly will finally have a built-in S Pen storage.
We are still in January and usually the Fold and Flip series are launched in August instead of August. It's been over half a year for Samsung to detail the final design of their foldable screen device. For sure, 2023 will be more challenging for Samsung as Chinese manufacturers start marketing their foldable screen devices globally at more affordable prices.
