GitHub initially targeted their platform to be used by more than 100 million developers by 2025. But, interestingly, the Microsoft-owned platform managed to reach that number two years earlier.
GitHub is currently used by over 100 million developers worldwide in their software development projects.
With this development as well, GitHub now pays more attention to helping developers in simplifying their development process, including being ready to introduce GitHub CoPilot based on artificial intelligence to speed up the development process.
