MediaTek which is one of the leading companies in the manufacturing of processor chips is present with a new product at CES 2023. Through it they introduced the Genio 700 which is specially designed for industrial and smart home products with the main focus on power efficiency.
It is produced using 6nm technology with a combination of two ARM A78 cores at 2.2GHz and six ARM A55 cores at 2.0GHz. In addition, it is also equipped with a versatile artificial intelligence chip with 4.0 TOPS capabilities and limited memory support on LPDDR4X.
In addition, it also includes dual-view support at high resolution 4K/60fps with AV1, VP9, H.265 and H.264 video decoding support. Next it also supports PCIe 2.0, USB 3.2 Gen1 and MIPI-CSI for the camera. In addition, it also has ARM SystemReady certification aimed at integrating the platform easily and ARM PSA certification to improve its security.
According to MediaTek, this processing chip will be commercially available starting in Q2 2023.
