Microsoft Ends Support For Windows 7 And Windows 8.1


 Microsoft today officially ended support for Windows 8.1, while simultaneously ending support for Microsoft 365 for Windows 7.


For information, both Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 operating systems have not received any major new feature additions since the introduction of Windows 10 and also Windows 11.


However, there are still users who use it. For Windows 7, support ended in January 2020 – but some software is already supported, including Microsoft 365. But, as of today, Microsoft is ending support for it.


In addition, Microsoft has also officially ended update support for Windows 8.1.


With this move, users are asked to switch to the Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system in order to continue using the operating system that has current security support, in addition to the various capabilities of using the latest software.
