One electronic appliance that we have yet to upgrade to a smart version is the refrigerator because there is no need. But if there is luck later, we are moved to try the new Samsung Family Hub Plus which now comes with a 32″ smart television built into the door.
This is an updated model to the original Family Hub equipped with a 21″ TV only. There is Tizen integration that allows it to operate like other Samsung smart televisions. Through the Samsung Atelier service, various beautiful works of art can be displayed on the screen when it is not in use.
In selected markets, the Samsung TV Plus service is also included so that TV shows can be watched directly on the fridge. Meanwhile in the United States the Amazon Your Essentials service can order the necessary food directly from the same screen.
Through SmartThings integration, it can be a hub to control devices with the internet of things at home such as closed-circuit cameras, washing machines, microwave machines and any device under the Matter ecosystem which is now fully supported. The Samsung Family Hub Plus will be officially unveiled at the CES 2023 event in Las Vegas next month.
