Apple Watch is the best smartwatch to date. It supports ECG, OLED screen, supports fast charging, and comes with many interesting features and functions for user activity monitoring.
One feature that is still not available on the Apple Watch, but has been present on Wear OS and health trackers for some time is user pressure monitoring. Although the Apple Watch is equipped with a sensor that can read this data, users need to use a third-party application to use it.
In a MyHealthApple study via MacRumors, the Apple Watch is said to be able to accurately monitor the user's stress level. This is because stress monitoring uses HRV (Heart Rate Variability) data and the Apple Watch already collects this data. In the study conducted, six ECG data were used per day to determine the user's stress level.
The results of this study found that the pressure level read is quite accurate and users can indeed rely on the Apple Watch to monitor their respective pressure levels. Furthermore, with the Apple Watch monitoring the user's sleep, activity and heart rate – these data allow stress monitoring to get better results.
If you want to check your blood pressure yourself using the Apple Watch, open the Health app on your iPhone, press Browse, then select Heart and view the Heart Rate Variability data. Select the data for 6 months (6M), if the data on the chart is high it means the user is facing less stress and if it is decreasing it means the stress level is high.
Alternatively, there are some third-party applications that can better display this data. Gentler Streak Workout Tracker is an app that Apple chose as the best Apple Watch app of the year.
