Screen recording on Windows 11 is difficult to use because this feature is not included by default. Unless the user is actively playing video games, built-in Xbox features can do that. Another option is to use a third-party application.
Recently, Windows 11 Insider users can already test the brand new Snipping Tool which supports the screen recording function. The same method of use for screenshots, where the user only needs to open the Snipping Tool and choose whether to make a new selection, the choice of shape mode whether freeform, by window or full screen and set a timer.
The feature has been teased since December last year and was only recently distributed to users running Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 11.2212.24.0. But it is still uncertain when it will be introduced to stable users.
