In conjunction with the upcoming CES 2023 event, LG has recently announced some of their new OLED televisions under the Z3, G3 and C3 series. All of these televisions will be powered by their new artificial intelligence chip, the α9 AI Processor Gen6.
LG promises brighter display quality, more accurate colors, as well as more powerful artificial intelligence capabilities such as AI Picture Pro for upscaling features with better clarity, enhanced details, better dynamic tones, can detect human faces and important objects to provide more realistic HDR quality. In addition, the AI Sound Pro feature also enables a virtual 9.1.2 audio system for a more comprehensive listening experience.
For the LG OLED G3 series, Brightness Booster Max technology is introduced for light control and a light algorithm that allows the brightness to be increased to 70% brighter and it is controlled pixel-by-pixel for sharper image results. The G3 series also uses One Wall Design to look more beautiful without gaps when attached to the wall. The new webOS will also be used with a new interface design that is more personalized, offering a Quick Cards feature for quick access to users' favorite content, and content will also be automatically sorted by categories such as Games, Sports, Music and others.
AI Concierge will also be included in webOS, as a "guardian" to users to help recommend content based on usage patterns. Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support will also be included. This LG 2023 TV also supports connection with LG soundbars better with enhanced IMAX audio features with DTS:X and WOW Orchestra. This LG OLED G3 series also supports HDMI 2.1a QMS-VRR connection with no more black screen problems when switching media sources such as between console and TV.
HDMI 2.1a support also enables 0.1ms response time, lower input lag, high refresh rate support for video games and G-SYMC and FreeSync Premium support are included. LG will offer three size options which are 55″, 65″ and also 75″. Details about this new television will be revealed further at the CES 2023 event. Let's wait together.
