The CES 2023 event will be enlivened by the presence of a new line of televisions that will be marketed throughout this year. There were 5 TVs which were considered to be the best and caught the attention during the exhibition.
LG surprised us by announcing a wireless OLED TV. Meanwhile, Samsung continues to develop MicroLED technology on its televisions in addition to updating its OLED line.
Hisense and TCL did not want to be outdone by showing off the latest innovations in their television lineup. Some of these TVs will be available in stores soon, while others will arrive in the coming months.
The 7 Best TVs to Grab the Attention at CES 2023
1. LG Signature M3 OLED TV
LG often steals the attention of CES visitors through its TV set. This year, the flagship TV is the Signature OLED M3, which comes with a 97-inch screen with technology that LG calls Zero Connect.
Instead of connecting cables from the console, streaming box, and soundbar to the TV, the LG OLED M3 completes it with a Zero Connect Box. Users must connect their streaming and audio devices to the receiver which then transmits wirelessly to the TV at up to 4K 120Hz in real time.
This eliminates the unsightly mess of cables hanging from the TV. Since there's nothing to plug in, the TV itself has an integrated wall bracket that allows it to sit flush against the wall.
2. Samsung MicroLED CX
The Samsung MicroLED CX series is one of two MicroLED TV lines announced at CES. Using the same stunning display technology as "The Wall" displays, the MicroLED CX series will be available in a variety of sizes, with the large 140-inch model being the largest.
All models feature 4K UHD resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, six HDMI ports, and support for multiview, which allows the TV to display content from 4 HDMI input sources simultaneously. The MicroLED CX series will be available in Q2 2023.
3. Hisense ULED X
Hisense ULED X flaunts with a large 85-inch panel. The 4K mini-LED QLED is powered by Hisense's new ULED X platform that the company claims can achieve three times the "environmental contrast" of OLED TVs, and twice the dynamic range.
Hisense ULED X has 5000+ Local Dimming Zones, 2500 nits peak brightness, and a Dynamic X Display that uses over 20,000 Mini-LED bulbs. On the audio side, the ULED X has 7 speakers and an 80W 4.1.2 multi-channel audio system. The specs alone make us drool.
Complementing the features, Hisense says that the ULED UX will support Dolby Vision, Wi-Fi 6e, NextGen TV, and AMD Freesync Premium Pro. It is equipped with a new audio system, CineStage, which offers more than 80 watts of power, with seven speakers and Dolby Atmos.
4.TCL QM8
TCL is bringing the QM8, a 98-inch QLED TV with a Mini-LED panel that has over 2300 dimming zones, the most of any 4K mini-LED display. With a bezel-less design, a 120Hz refresh rate that can reach 240Hz (variable refresh rate) thanks to a feature called Game Accelerator, Google TV, IMAX Enhanced certification.
Not to forget there is AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certification, and a built-in subwoofer. Because of that, the TCL QM8 is claimed to be very good for movies, watching sports shows, and games. The TCL QM8 also brings support for WiFi 6 and already runs Google TV.
5. Displace TV
A 55-inch TV with 4K resolution without wires that attaches directly to the wall with no installation or drilling required? That's DisplaceTV.
Displace created a battery-powered 55-inch television that weighs less than 9 pounds and can last up to a month on a single charge. The company says it can be easily moved from room to room, thanks to its active loop vacuum technology that keeps it attached to the wall.
This TV has voice, touch, and gesture controls, and no physical remote control. The idea is to create a more intuitive viewing experience. Displace can combine 16 together to create a commercial display, effectively working together to increase the display size.
Each DisplaceTV unit will cost $2,999 upon release.
