ThinkBook 16p Gen 4 Now Official With Magic Bay Magnetic Accessory Support


 Today, the Lenovo ThinkBook 16p Gen 4 was also launched. Just like last year, this laptop comes with a protruding notch. What sets it apart from the older generation is that the 16p Gen 4 supports a range of new Magic Bay magnetic accessory connections.



This laptop uses a 16-inch screen with 3.2K resolution, Dolby Vision display and 120Hz refresh rate support. ThinkBook 16p Gen 4 is also generated with a choice of 13th generation Intel Core H-series processing chips and graphics cards up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060, memory up to 32GB DDR5 RAM, PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage reaches 2TB. According to Lenovo, this model is the most powerful ThinkBook to date.



The ThinkBook 16p Gen 4 also supports an 80Whr battery with fast charging support, four built-in Harmon/Kardon speakers with Dolby Atmos support, a built-in FHD web camera and a Samrt Power-on fingerprint scanner. For connectivity, 2x UBS-A, 2x USB-C, 1x HDMI, 1x SD card reader, 1x 3.5mm audio jack as well as Bluetooth 5.1 and WiFi 6E support.



For Magic Bay magnetic accessories, there are three products on offer, the Magic Bay 4K Webcam, a web camera that supports auto-focus and can ensure users are always in the frame with a choice of different viewpoints. Also built in are lights and an electronic privacy shutter. It can also be changed direction with flexible hinges.



Magic Bay Light is a lamp to be used with the built-in web camera on a laptop. It can light up at a brightness level of 200-lux and the light will turn itself on when the camera is opened. Last but not least is the Magic Bay LTE, as a mobile modem to avoid insecure public WiFi connections. It can also be used on other laptops with a USB-C connection.
