American and German Tanks Towards Ukraine, Russia Prepares Robot Tanks

The United States and Germany will send their strongest tanks to the battlefield in Ukraine, namely the M1 Abrams and Leopard 2. How will Russia respond to this development?

As reported, US President Joe Biden said he would deploy 31 M1 Abrams tanks to Ukraine. Meanwhile, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said his party would send 14 Leopard 2 tanks in the first phase. Maybe more will be added in the future.

Responding to this situation, the former Roscosmos boss and head of the Russian Special Military Advisory Group, Dimitry Rogzon, said that his party had prepared special technology to destroy the two types of tanks, in the form of an unmanned robot named Marker.

Rogozin claims their combat robots will automatically recognize and attack Ukrainian war equipment, including American Abrams tanks and German Leopards, because they are equipped with computerized photo catalogs.

The Marker is an unmanned ground vehicle (UGV), with a tank-like appearance. It is equipped with various sensors and weapons. There are drone launch systems, machine guns and anti-tank missiles.

"The combat version of the Marker robot has an electronic catalog in the system with images of targets in the visible or infrared range," Rogozin claims.

"This robot can automatically determine enemy equipment. For example, immediately after the delivery of Abrams and Leopard tanks to Ukrainian troops, the Marker will receive a suitable electronic image and can automatically detect and engage American and German tanks," Rogozin claims.

Earlier this month, Rogozin wrote on Telegram that the combat robot would undergo a "baptism of fire" on the battlefields of the Donbas region. He said the Marker is capable of functioning autonomously to conduct combat operations and find targets up to 20 km away. We'll see how effective this robot's ability is to ward off Western aid tank attacks.
