Apple Watch Series X May Be Under Development

Apple's latest smartwatch is the Apple Watch Series 8 and the most powerful is the Apple Watch Ultra. Previous reports stated that the next generation Apple Watch Ultra will use a MicroLED screen of their design and may be built by LG.

The screen size of this watch is said to be larger which is 2.1-inches. Recently there are reports that Apple may be developing the Apple Watch Series X, skipping the Series 9 as they did with the iPhone a few years ago – no iPhone 9 and continuing with the iPhone X. On the iPhone this strategy worked because the iPhone X at that time continued to be popular with sales also become fast without having to wait for a long period of time.

Apple Watch Series X is rumored to have a larger screen size of around 5% to 10% making it to 1.89-inches or 2.04-inches and still using the LTPO panel by LG. But the source also stated that there is a possibility that the Apple Watch Series X will be launched in 2024 as the tenth anniversary of the Apple Watch since it was first introduced in 2014.

In addition, the Apple Watch SE will also have a new generation with the same screen size as the Apple Watch Series 8. While this year, the Apple Watch Series 9 may continue with the same size as the Series 8 as well. Anyway, this report is said to be received from the supplier and there is still no official information yet.

Last year, rumors of an Apple Watch Pro surfaced – but the released watch was an Ultra different from the leaked name. So, the Series X name may not be used. Whatever we look forward to.
