ChatGPT opens a Pandora's box where students use it to create homework assigned by teachers and lecturers. Some services to detect original essays or artificial intelligence have been offered for free since last month. Recently OpenAI produced its own services that solved the issues they posed.
This service is still in its early stages and has a low accuracy of only 26%, also misidentifying human citations as written by artificial intelligence in 9% of situations.
It is also only trained to detect works written in English only at this time and must have at least 1000 words. For those looking for an alternative, GPTZero and AI Writing Check can also be used for free.
