After confirming the release of the Reno8 T Series on February 7, Oppo is now revealing the meaning behind the letter T for this newest device. This new name has indeed made some of the public ask questions, especially since previously OPPO had never used the letter T on a smartphone series or device.
OPPO Indonesia Chief Marketing Officer Patrick Owen said that the letter T in his newest series means Topped Up, which is a major improvement that makes this device much better than before.
In Reno8 T, OPPO has Topped in terms of increasingly powerful hardware performance, camera configurations with Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities or artificial intelligence that are much stronger. Reno8 T is also equipped with a new flagship class design which makes the appearance much more stylish.
"OPPO Reno8 Series has high interest to date. As a human-centric brand we want to continue to provide satisfaction to consumers, one of which is through the presence of the OPPO Reno8 T Series. The letter T was first introduced to consumers with the meaning of Topped Up, where we increasing excellence on every side of the Reno8 T Series device as an answer to the needs of increasingly modern smartphone devices for our consumers," said Patrick in a written statement, Tuesday (31/1/2023).
Camera Top Up
Reno8 T is the first Reno Series device equipped with a 100MP Portrait Camera capability. With super large resolution, users can freely crop and enlarge photos to produce detailed portrait images.
It doesn't stop there, OPPO also presents the AI Portrait Super Resolution feature. Built on AI learning trained on more than 200,000 portrait photo samples, AI Portrait Super Resolution can recognize, analyze and optimize portraits taken in low-light environments.
Top Up Design
On the Reno8 T series, Oppo presents a fiberglass skin design which is upgraded with a new technique to produce a back cover that is much lighter and thinner than the cover. Made from traditional leather, this design features a leather stitch pattern produced through an embossing process. Interestingly, OPPO has also enhanced the Orbit Light feature so that it can be personalized more freely with a variety of available color choices.
Performance Top Up
OPPO also doesn't forget to improve the performance of the Reno8 T device. Including by presenting 48 Month Fluency Protection to ensure the smoothness of the device for at least 4 years of use. Reno8 T is also equipped with the latest Android 13 based ColorOS 13 which offers more smart features to users. Thus, using the Reno8 T will be more concise, comfortable and safe. Moreover, OPPO has made various security improvements to the ColorOS operating system.
