Apart from releasing the Galaxy S23 lineup, Samsung also released its newest laptop line called the Galaxy Book3, the successor to last year's Galaxy Book2.
Although at first glance the Book3 looks the same as the Book2, there have been a lot of major changes that have taken place on this laptop, we were quoted as saying from The Verge, Thursday (2/1/2023).
For example, the processor used is the latest Intel Core Gen 13, as well as a new screen that Samsung calls Dynamic AMOLED 2X. This type of screen has actually been used by Samsung in its Galaxy HP line, but this is the first time it has been brought to laptops.
The 2X label on this type of screen indicates the refresh rate used, which is 120Hz. The panel has a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:10, higher than the Book2 which uses a screen with a 16:9 ratio. Of course, with the use of this type of OLED screen, the resulting colors look very attractive, the response time is fast, and of course, the blacks are very deep.
There are two screen variants of the Book3, namely 14 inch and 16 inch, and there is also a 16 inch variant whose screen can be rotated 360 degrees, namely the Galaxy Book3 Pro 360. This Pro variant has never been in the Galaxy Book lineup before.

Not only that, there is also the Galaxy Book3 Ultra which is also on display, but has not been released yet. This Ultra variant has the most powerful specifications, a 16-inch screen and uses an RTX 3070 GPU, which might be positioned as a competitor to the MacBook Pro line from Apple.
The presence of this Ultra variant is interesting, because Samsung's line of laptops has long been known for their thin bodies and light weight. These two aspects should be difficult to fulfill if you use a discrete GPU like the RTX 3070, which is power hungry and also generates a lot of heat.
