Snap Wants to Come With Glasses Powered by AI-Generated Graphics Features

Snap, the company behind Snapchat is still not giving up on introducing their physical products. Spectacles glasses and Pixy camera drones are failed projects, despite having interesting concepts.

A recent TechCrunch report stated that Snap wants to continue producing other glasses as well. This time they want to include artificial intelligence generated graphics features such as Midjourney, DALL-E 2 and others. This technology is already used on many platforms and Snap doesn't want to be left behind.

These Snap glasses are said to be able to provide more transformation to user content, including with photo editing ideas or creating Snaps with text input only. But for now, it's just an idea and there's no timeline for when this product will become a reality.

However, this artificial intelligence-generated graphics feature may be introduced in Lens Studio for the development of augmented reality filters/lenses. This feature will benefit 300,000 creators who have created over 3 million lenses.

Snap also reported that they now have over 2 million paying customers who subscribe to Snapchat+. Maybe with so many paying customers, these customers might be willing to shell out money for their physical product?
