Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 flagship chip was launched at the Snapdragon Summit that took place last December. This is the turn of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 For Galaxy chip to be announced with it being designed specifically for the Samsung Galaxy S23 series.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 For Galaxy chip still uses 4nm technology. The CPU configuration is 1+4+3 cores with one CPU core 1x Cortex-X3 3.36GHz, 4x Cortex-A715 2.8GHz and 3x Cortex-A510 2.0 GHz. This is also matched with the latest Adreno 740 GPU. Previously there were reports that this GPU was overclocked to 719MHz compared to 680MHz in the normal version. But in Qualcomm's official document this is not clearly stated.
