Telekom Malaysia has now started informing their customers, stating that the FUP for Unifi Mobile's "unlimited" prepaid monthly plan will be set to just 60GB per month.
In addition to reducing the unlimited plan to a quota of 60GB per month, Unifi Mobile will also reduce the use of hotspots from 10GB per month to only 5GB per month.
This change will be implemented by Unifi Mobile from 9 February 2023.
Previously, in December 2022, TM introduced FUP limits to unlimited plans with a data usage limit of 100GB, in addition to a hotspot usage limit of 10GB. This is the second reduction and introduction of limits in 3 months.
After using up the provided quota, the user's plan will be limited to 512Kbps speed until the pass is renewed.
This change may not be liked by users, not to mention that TM has just made changes in December 2022 to their Unifi Mobile Bebas unlimited pass.
