Viral on social media about the story of a man from India who suddenly appeared after being declared dead by the police and cremated. The police previously discovered the body of a male in a hotel and they identified him as a 36-year-old man named Deepak Balakrishnan Kandi.
Deepak is known to have disappeared on June 7 last year, reports of his disappearance are also in the police station. But who would have thought, after the family performed the cremation ritual, it turned out that the police had the wrong person.
Instead of Deepak, the body that was found belonged to another person who was also reported missing. Incidentally, the two have enough in common that the police identify them incorrectly.
Launching the Times of India, Friday (3/2/2023) this mistake was realized when the police found Deepak by accident. One day, the Margao city police carried out routine surveillance of the hotels. While randomly checking the guest list of a hotel along the road of an old railway station, they discover Deepak's identity. He was immediately arrested, the Margao Police immediately contacted the Kerala Police.
Then, where exactly is Deepak all this time? Deepak told police that he traveled to places including Jaipur, Delhi and Punjab, before arriving in the Goa area. He also does freelancing for a living in Bogmalo.
Deepak had been missing for at least eight months before he was finally found. At the Margao police station, when reporters told him about the cremation ceremony his family had performed. Deepak just smirked and said he didn't know that, before being taken away by the Kerala police.
