Vivo X90 | Official X90 Pro In Malaysia – 1″ Sensor Camera With Price Starting at RM3699

The new Vivo X series model that focuses on photography is now finally official in the Malaysian market. There are two models namely Vivo X90 and Vivo X90 Pro. Vivo has once again teamed up with Zeiss to ensure that the camera capabilities of these two devices can attract a lot of attention. Not only that, the Vivo X90 and X90 Pro are also powered by the same chip, the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 – a new flagship device chip that is also matched with Vivo's own ISP chip, the Imaging Chip V2.

Vivo X90

This device is the most basic model, where the screen size is 6.78″ AMOLED with a resolution of 1260 x 2800, supports a refresh rate of 120Hz and HDR10+ display. The Dimensity 9200 chip (1x 3.05GHz + 3x 2.85GHz + 4x 1.80GHz and Arm Immortalis-G715 GPU) is matched with 12/256 GB memory, a 4810mAh battery with 120W charging and an under-screen fingerprint scanner.

For the camera, on the back is 50MP f/1.75 (wide-angle), OIS + 12MP f/1.98 (portrait/telephoto) 2x optical zoom + 12MP f/2.0 (ultra-wide-angle). All rear cameras use Zeiss technology and also have a Zeiss T* coating on each lens. The selfie camera is 32MP f/2.45. In the camera application, various portrait modes have been added including Zeiss Cinematic mode for bokeh video recording.

This device also comes with a design more or less the same as the Vivo X80, only the large and wide square camera module is no longer there – as it is replaced by a more prominent round design. The finish is also a dull type for comfort in the user's hand.

The speaker of the device is a stereo type, uses Bluetooth 5.3, WiFi 6, infrared sensor, has IP64 protection and runs Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13. Vivo X90 for the Malaysian market is sold at a price of RM3699 for one model only which is 12/256 GB in Breeze Blue or Asteroid Black.

Vivo X90 Pro

The screen of this device is the same as the regular model, as is the processing chip. The only difference is in the memory, where this model uses 12GB LPDDR5 RAM memory and 256GB UFS 4.0 internal storage. The main difference of this device is in the camera part and a little in the design of the device.

The rear camera is a 50MP f/1.75 1″ size (wide angle) VCS – Vivo Camera-Bionic Spectrum, OIS + 12MP f/1.6 (portrait/telephoto) 2x optical zoom, OIS + 12MP f/2.0 (ultra-wide angle). All rear cameras use Zeiss technology and also have a Zeiss T* coating on each lens. The selfie camera is 32MP f/2.45. In the camera application, various portrait modes have been added including Zeiss Cinematic mode for bokeh video recording. Because the Pro model has dual-OIS night mode support such as Super Moon and Astro can be used without any tripod.

Other features and functions are the same as the regular Vivo X90, only the battery size is bigger at 4870mAh with 120W fast charging as well. Added to this device is 50W wireless charging support and IP68 water protection.

The design of the device looks the same, but the back uses a giant round camera bump to accommodate a 1-inch sensor and uses a black faux leather finish. For the Malaysian market Vivo X90 Pro is sold at a price of RM4999 for 12/256 GB in Legendary Black color.
