Today, Transport Minister Anthony Loke has announced that Malaysians will no longer need to affix road tax stickers to their private vehicles or physically print vehicle licenses.
During the announcement, Anthony Loke also said that this digitization process is one of the first steps in digitizing various existing government services.
Through the announcement, starting today, 10 February 2023, Malaysians can download the MyJPJ application from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store and Huawei App Gallery, register their details, and display their license and road tax digitally.
These details can also be shown through the MySikap website, where driving license details can be seen. The website is also said to be updated with vehicle tax sticker details soon as well.
For those who don't like to install so many apps on their devices, Anthony Loke also says that the screenshots for the driver's license and the vehicle can also be used as proof that they have valid documents.
