After the sale price was leaked earlier, Amazfit finally announced the availability of the GTR Mini in Malaysia officially today. If followed, it becomes the first Mini-branded smartwatch in the Amazfit GTR series. At the same time, it is also a smaller variation compared to the existing one.
For those interested, the GTR Mini is sold in Malaysia at RM599 each through authorized Garmin distributors throughout Malaysia, either online or offline. Interestingly, it can also be had at a promotional price as low as RM579 exclusively on Shopee for three days starting next March 17 with a Starbucks card worth RM20 given for free.
Like other Amazfit GTR models, it is also equipped with a round-shaped watch face frame which is then combined with a skin-friendly soft silicone strap. The screen is 1.28-inch AMOLED HD with a resolution of 416 X 416 pixels which also supports a pixel density of 326 PPI. It also has a variety of built-in health and fitness sensors that can monitor heart rate, real-time stress levels, sleep patterns and more.
Not only that, there are also more than 120 built-in sports modes with automatic detection features included. In addition, it also comes with a 5-satellite positioning system for outdoor activities and passes the 5ATM waterproof level which is beneficial for water sports.
The included 280mAh battery can last up to 20 days with battery saving mode, 14 days for normal use and 7 days for extreme use.
