After Twitter introduced the Twitter Blue subscription which gives a blue mark next to the name, now Meta also followed suit and introduced a subscription service called Meta Verified.
Meta Verified is currently offered in the United States, Australia, and New Zealand for those 18 years of age and older.
Through this subscription, it will give a blue mark on your account on Facebook and also Instagram.
With Meta Verified, user accounts will be verified based on the identity issued by the government of a country. In addition, some of the features that will be offered include offering 100 Stars every month to be gifted to other "Creators", protection from identity theft, as well as direct customer service support related to Facebook and Instagram accounts.
Meta Verified is offered for $11.99 per month on the web, or $14.99 per month on iOS and Android. For now, the local sales price and introduction date for users in Malaysia is not yet known.
