TikTok is the most popular social media app among young people. Millions of short videos can be enjoyed and anyone who has used TikTok will admit to spending hours every day just watching videos endlessly. But sometimes the videos recommended on the For You Page (FYP) will be silly because the algorithm doesn't always accurately guess what you want to watch.
Today TikTok has launched a new feature that empowers users to reset the FYP feature algorithm. When this feature is used, TikTok will revert back to the way it was the first time the app was used. All previous usage history will be deleted and new recommendations more in sync with new viewing videos will be provided. This feature was tested by a small number of TikTok users before and is only now available to all.
