Digital Nasional Berhad or DNB is the firm responsible for the introduction of the 5G network as a whole in Malaysia.
Most recently, DNB is seen not continuing the contract for the previous DNB CEO, Augustus Ralph Marshall. Previously he has led Maxis and also Astro Networks.
Ralph Marshall's previous contract expired on March 11, 2023, and was not renewed.
For now, several potential candidates are said to be being considered in filling the position.
The new CEO will be responsible for continuing the government's agenda in achieving 80% 5G coverage by the end of 2023, as well as expanding and offering 5G services to enterprise services and others.
