Dyson has today announced a number of new accessories that help make cleaning the house easier, and a new cooling fan and air purifier.
First up is the Dyson 360 Vis Nav robot vacuum, which is their third generation robot vacuum after the Dyson 360 Eye and Dyson 360 Heurist. It not only comes with a more compact design compared to their previous robots, but also a much more powerful suction power than previous models.
Another advantage of this vacuum robot is that it has the ability to clean corners that are normally difficult for similar products, due to the weak side suction power. This is not a problem for the Dyson 360 Vis Nav, where it has a brush on the side of the cleaning head that helps in moving the dirt to the side suction part of the robot vacuum.
It also has a battery life of 50 minutes, after which it will return to its own dock to charge. It can also be connected to the MyDyson app which can be used to set a number of commands that can be given automatically.
One product that we are sure many Dyson product users are waiting for is a mop with a wet dirt suction function. Dyson is seen introducing the Dyson V12s Detect Submarine, which is a variation on the Dyson V12 Detect Slim that now comes with the Dyson Submarine accessory, a mop head that uses the fifth generation Dyson neodymium motor to power it.
This mop head comes with two 300ml sized tanks for cleaning liquid and also the dirty water that will be absorbed from this accessory mop head. It is capable of cleaning liquid spills such as ketchup, water, milk and so on, and cleaning floors with hard surfaces such as wood and tiles.
But we're also told that even though the Dyson Submarine is a head-only accessory, it can only be purchased together with the new Dyson V12 Detect which has been named the Dyson V12 Detect Submarine due to some changes made to the model.
Dyson is also seen introducing the Dyson V15 Detect Submarine, but this model is not offered in the Asian region.
If you are looking for a fan and air purifier for large indoor areas, Dyson also introduces the Dyson Purifier Big+Quiet Formaldehyde fan and air purifier, a large-sized Dyson Purifier fan for commercial-sized indoor areas.
This fan can not only blow air at a distance of 10 meters, but also suck the existing air in, clean it of bacteria and viruses, and blow out clean air. It is also a very quiet fan with the sound produced only as high as 56 decibels.
For now, the launch date and price tag for these products are not yet known.
